Exciting newsflash for all involved with Atlantic Rhythm Productions!
UK tour in March 2017 - Saoirse na hEireann will perform at various venues in the north east !
Dates ,venues & ticket details will all be announced shortly!
In addition to the competition aspect, the school enjoys many opportunities for non competitive displays and performances. These allow the dancers a chance to learn and show off more modern, show style pieces and be creative with the dance. We also have several social events through the year including our Annual North Mayo Feis and regular group activities, allowing us all to kick back and relax in a more social, non-dance setting!
The school has an active parents committee who assist in organising the many events that the school is involved with.
What We Do!
Well done to all involved!

UK SHOW DETAILS
Irish Music and Dance show on Thu 9th March 2017
The Mayo Manchester Tradfest and The Leeds St Patrick Day Parade committee present The UK premiere of Isle of Hope which is a brand new centenary traditional Irish Music, Song and Dance show set in a cottage in County Mayo in the West of Ireland.
Performed by the multi award winning Atlantic Rhythm Company from Mayo, the troupe of Irish Musicians, Singers and Dancers are staging the UK premiere tour with just three exclusive shows in Leeds, Liverpool and Manchester. This is one of the highlights of the Leeds St Patrick's weekend Parade. Leeds and Mayo have always had very strong links and this show features performers from Mayo who have numerous relatives and friends in Leeds and is one of the reasons why they selected the Irish Centre to stage the first Uk show before going onto Liverpool and Manchester.
Visitors will be transported back in time to the beginning of the last century when they step inside the country cottage for a night of rip roaring Irish entertainment. Expect to see some fantastic displays of Barrel Dancing, Brush Dancing and set Dancing from the troupe who hold 6 world Irish Dancing championships. Get ready to tap your feet and clap your hands in time for the traditional Irish musicians and bring your hankies for the traditional ballads perfiormed in the Sean Nos style.
The second half will feature a traditional round the fire session hosted by the one and only Dolores O'Boyle with some very special guests.
Tickets for this show which had its sell out world premiere during the summer are expected to sell out very quickly. There is a special early bird ticket which is just £10 when purchased before December.
