Following the government directive in relation to the closure of all schools and childcare facilities, we as a dancing school fall under the same directive. Therefore all classes will now cease and will re-open, please God, in the not-too-distant future.

We will keep you informed of any further developments.

The Moffatt School of Irish Dancing is based in County Mayo, in the west of Ireland.
Founded by Sheila Moffatt, the school has gone from strength to strength, and is now one of the most prominent Irish Dancing Schools in the country.

We provide Irish dancing lessons to children and teenagers from age 4 upwards in many venues across County

Mayo. Under the direct supervision and guidance of Sheila Moffatt, ADCRN - an Irish dancing teacher & adjudicator with over 25 years experience - we continue to nurture the continued development of the Traditional Arts from Beginner to World champion level. The school provides a friendly, safe & encouraging environment  where young people of all ages can enjoy both solo and team Irish dancing. Competition is optional, each child makes their own decision on the level of involvement the wish to pursue in both the competitive and non competitive world of Irish dance.

Get in touch with Moffatt School of Irish Dancing to learn more about our work and how you can get involved.

We would encourage all dancers to practice and to keep up their hard work and fitness levels. We will keep in touch via email, we encourage dancers to forward video clips of their practice for correction. All dancers should use this time wisely so that when things go back to normal we can pick up where we left off.
